2009 Festival Tickets
Festival tickets and camping are now on sale. As in past years, we will be selling a limited number of holiday-priced four-day passes beginning. Once we have sold our allottment of holiday tickets, prices will increase $30 to the advance price. Order your tickets at shop.bluegrass.com or 800-624-2422.
All Telluride Bluegrass tickets are fully refundable if returned by May 8, 2009. Single-day tickets will go on sale in the Spring once the daily artist lineups have been released. As always, the price listed here is the final price you pay - we charge no handling fees of any kind.

A word about ticket prices...
Prices for four-day tickets and camping have remained the same for at least the past three years (with advance price tickets remaining constant for five years and some campground prices remaining constant for six). Meanwhile, our costs continue to increase every year - from the cost of providing the best Festival sound anywhere, to the cost of presenting unique and deep artist lineups, to the costs of our groundbreaking sustainability initiatives.

In these uncertain economic times, we realize that every dollar matters more than ever. So, we struggled with our ticket prices for weeks, digging into all our Festival budgets. In the end, the decision was simple: cut corners or increase ticket prices. We chose the latter. We would be doing a disservice to the Festvarians and the glorious tradition of Telluride Bluegrass to present anything less than the greatest Festival experience in the world.
We firmly believe Telluride Bluegrass still represents the best value in the Festival business. This year's ticket increases remain less than the rate of inflation over the past three years.
We also believe in not hiding costs in handling or shipping fees - as always, the price you see here is the final price you pay. In the past, after a price increase we have maintained prices for several years; we expect nothing different this year.
Camping Passes
- Camping is sold per-person and per-vehicle, not per site. If there are two of you and you want to have your vehicle or RV at the campground with you, you must purchase two camping passes and one vehicle or RV pass in addition to your festival passes.
- A vehicle is considered anything requiring a license plate and under 18 feet in length. Vehicles over 18 feet are considered RVs and will be more expensive.
